GESTVIA

Gestió Viària S.L. (Gestvia) is the Calella City Council's municipal company, created in 1998 in order to manage aspects related to mobility and road-related public spaces like car parks, zones blaves (blue zones) and signs.

Regulated parking areas (blue and green zones) have become an effective method to promote parking rotation. At the same time, the revenue from managing these zones has made it possible to fund other initiatives and investments in Calella, like road signs and a series of Gestvia operations across the region.

With the approval of the Calella urban development plan, Gestvia also became a municipal company with management capacity in the territory, and since 2013, it has been participating in new areas of mobility in Calella, such as the Carrilet tourist train service, the municipal crane service and the new municipal vehicle depot in La Muntanyeta. However, this year 2026, new electric vehicle charging points are expected to come into service throughout the city, and in 2027 the new Can Saleta car park will come into operation.

Given this presence on the streets of Calella, the staff at Gestvia offers a public information service, reports the incidents detected on public roads, and communicates any incident to the local police, fire and ambulance services.

Gestvia works for Calella and in the service of its residents, striving to improve mobility and quality of life in our city.
