Gestió Viària S.L., as a municipal company in Calella dedicated to various areas of city mobility, has been providing an entry and exit protection service for students from Escola Pia schools (centers on Sant Pere Street and Jovara Street) and Escola Freta since March 2018. None of these schools are affected by traffic on Sant Jaume Street (N-II).

To improve the visibility and safety of this service, the School Protection service staff have a specific uniform in red, blue and reflective gray. The GESTVIA staff who carry out these tasks are in constant communication and follow the guidelines indicated by the Calella Local Police, as the ultimate responsible parties for the School Protection service.
